TWO OUT OF TWO: Nathan Forrest celebrates his second win as a professional boxer after outpointing his opponent over four rounds

SINCE turning professional in March, Cockfield-based boxer Nathan Forrest has been unbeatable in the ring.
The 23-year-old, who took up the sport as a teenager, training and sparring at Barnard Castle Amateur Boxing Club, won his second professional fight in a bout staged at Rainton Arena.
Following the shock death of his best friend, Daniel Law, just days before his first professional fight in August, the big-hearted boxer took on the challenge of completing the Great North Run to raise funds for the Great North Air Ambulance Service in memory of his mate.
Not only was Mr Forrest victorious in his first fight, but secured a second win on Friday, November 25, against Harley Marginson.
Nathan said: “It was another great night and another four rounds under my belt.
“Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket to come and support me, it really does mean the world to me.
“I had a good performance against a tough opponent, but we’re just getting started,” he added.
