BGT winner promises plenty of fun

FIRST TOUR: Britain's Got Talent winner Jon Courtenay is heading to town

COMEDY fans are being invited to enjoy a bit of midweek merriment in the company of Britain’s Got Talent 2020 winner Jon Courtenay.

The Suffolk funnyman became the first hopeful on the popular TV series to be awarded the golden buzzer by presenters Ant and Dec for his audition and then go on to win the overall show.

Following his success and a lengthy hiatus due to Covid, he is embarking on his first ever tour – with a show at The Witham, Barnard Castle, tonight, Wednesday, September 29.

Billed as “the funniest show with a piano” , the performance includes a soundtrack of all his Britain’s Got Talent songs, music spanning the classics to rock ‘n’ roll and not forgetting his favourite bad dad jokes.

Premium VIP seats are available for the show which include a meet and greet, selfie and a signed photograph.

Tickets are £29 (premium seats), £18 and £16 for U18s and students. There is no age restriction for this show.
