Pupils help draw up new branding for Appleby Forcett Primary School

NEW LOGOS: Pupils Ewan Millar and Georgina Braidley cut the cake to launch the new name of Trinity Academy Eppleby Forcett while head teacher Kate Williamson and Dales Academies Trust chief executive Damian Chubb look on

PUPILS at Eppleby Forcett Primary School have had a hand in designing their academy trust’s potential new logo and school uniforms.

The school formed the Dale Academies Trust along with Middleton Tyas Primary School, with which it is federated, and Richmond Primary School in November.

On Friday, May 11, the schools launched their new identities with the Eppleby school adopting the name Trinity Academy Eppleby Forwcett. Headteacher Kate Williamson said: “Our names clearly embrace both our Christian heritage and our working partnership. Our uniform and school logos will probably be changing but the heart of our schools will remain.

“We pride ourselves in putting our children at the forefront of everything we do and will always continue to strive to ensure we give all our students the best primary education possible.

“Our students will continue to grow in confidence, feel safe and this will be the platform they need to achieve their academic goals.”

She added that the children had helped shape the new logo with most of them incorporating the name Trinity in their designs.
