Best for forward for new Irish dance class in Barnard Castle

STEPPING OUT: Suzanne Wallace

WANNABE Irish dancers are being invited to step out and hone their skills at a new class in Barnard Castle.

The weekly family sessions have been launched at The Witham by Suzanne Wallace, who is also the arts centre’s cafe manager.

“It’s fun, it’s fitness and it’s exciting,” said Ms Wallace, who has been dancing since the age of four and teaching for the last 24 years.

“It is a very energetic dance. You will learn a new skill while making friends at the same time.”

The class takes place on Thursdays from 4.30pm to 5.30pm and costs £5. For more details, contact Ms Wallace at The Witham, 01833 631107.
