Rotary’s gifts for Teesdale pupils as they move on

Friend of Rotary Barnard Castle, Pete Haring, delivered the organisation’s gift of a thesaurus to each Year 6 school leaver in Teesdale.

This is something of a tradition established by Rotary Barnard Castle over recent years.

Eleanor Dinnes said: “We’ve been giving out these books as a gift to Teesdale Year 6s as we think the thesaurus is a great keepsake of their academic achievements over their time in primary school as well as an analogue learning tool which they will hopefully be able to use for years to come and throughout their education.

“Well done to all the school children moving on up to secondary and good luck in your future.”
