BFG fans in dreamland during museum’s summer activities

ROALD Dahl’s famous story of The BFG was brought to life as youngsters made their own dream jars at The Bowes Museum.

The craft workshop was inspired by The BFG in Pictures exhibition, a magical display of Quentin Blake’s illustrations, which is currently on show at the museum in Barnard Castle.

Education co-ordinator, Amy Bainbridge, led the workshop last Wednesday during which youngsters made their own magical masterpieces.

The exhibition runs until September 30.
