Witham ‘word cloud’ on display

SUMMING UP: The Witham word cloud captures people's thoughts on the current situation in just a couple of words

ANYONE walking passed Barnard Castle’s arts centre over the next few days will have noticed something new in the gallery window facing onto the Market Place.
Although the complex remains closed for the time being, The Witham team wanted to share a little warmth by making a “Word Cloud” in response to the current situation.
Staff, trustees and volunteers at The Witham were asked to sum up their thoughts on the current situartion as part of a project to captures their response to the lockdown.
Their words have been made into the thought-provoking board currently on display in the window.
Sarah Gent, programming and marketing manager, said: “We can’t wait to open those doors and will do when it is safe to do so.
“However, for now, here is a little act of creativity from our team at The Witham to share some warmth with you, our amazing community,” she added.
Ms Gent thanked Barney-based Print Display for producing the finished display board.
