While you may not have been able to secure a ticket to see American rock legends The Eagles during their Long Goodbye Tour last year, there is still time to enjoy their music live, thanks to one of the many tribute acts lined up at The Witham this year.
The Bootleg Eagles will perform at Barney’s art centre on Saturday, February 15, and the five musicians who make up the premier tribute act promise to take audiences on a powerful journey through the seventies band career – from their country-rock roots through to global chart toppers including the iconic Hotel California.
Jane Woodward, marketing officer for The Witham, said: “If anybody can’t get tickets as we don’t have that many left, we will be starting a waiting list. But we will be adding a second date for the Bootleg Eagles in February 2026 and they will go on sale soon.”
Fans of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons are in for a treat when The Jerseys return to The Witham on Saturday, May 3, with an all-singing, all-dancing show celebrating the sublime harmonies of the sixties and seventies.
Later in the month real life brothers Colin and Steve Temple will take to the stage to perform a two-hour show celebrating the music of fifties siblings, The Everly Brothers.
With live acoustic guitars and flawless harmonies, it is not hard to understand how their act, The Everlys and Friends was voted as the UK’s number one by the National Tribute Music Awards in 2017.
As well as performing some of The Everly’s best-known hits such as When Will I Be Loved, the Temple brothers will be joined on Saturday, May 24, at 7.30pm by legendary friends Buddy Holly, played by Buddy Walker, and The Shadows’ Hank Marvin, played by Ivan Marvin as well as Peter Gill in the guise of rock and roll Wildman Jerry Lee Lewis.
On Friday June 6, one wild night is promised when Bon Jovi Forever puts on their high-energy, packed show. Reviving the hard rock, glam metal eighties/nineties the stadium worthy show has received rave reviews from fans and venues across the UK.
And if you enjoyed being transported back to the eighties with Bon Jovi’s tribute, you shouldn’t miss out on the UK Rock Show on Thursday, September 11.
The five-piece band will be combining the feel of a rock festival with the atmosphere of a top end rock arena tour performing hits from rock gods such as Journey, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Kiss as well as Van Halen and many more.
Fans of George Michael are also in for a treat with the return of Steve Mitchell, whose tribute act went down a storm last year.
He will be returning on Thursday, September 18, and will be bringing his band, including ex-Wham bassist Dave West.
Super troopers Abba Sensation, widely considered to be one of the best Abba tribute acts, will return to the Witham on Saturday, October 11, with their stunning stage show that combines costume changes, lighting effects and a faithful reproduction of the Swedish super band’s sound.
Qween UK were a massive hit when they performed in Barney last year and return on Saturday, November 25, to deliver their “definitive Queen live experience” on stage.
If these weren’t enough to sate appetites for music, there are even more acts planned for 2026 with the north’s premier Fleetwood Mac tribute band, Fleeting Rumours lined up to perform on Saturday, March 7.
