Travellers head along to Boldron

RETURN VISIT: The Old Age Travellers will perform at the Pinfold Club on Saturday

A THREE-piece band with a wide repertoire of songs including well-known folk numbers as well as a number of foot-tapping Scottish and Irish tunes will be performing at the Pinfold Club, in Boldron, on Saturday, August 10.

Malcolm Elsbury, John Stokell and Michael Ninham, who make up The Old Age Travellers, will return to the community-run venue to entertain in the second of the club’s monthly live music events.

The band, who like to have a “good time” and get the audience involved will, no doubt, play renditions of Dirty Old Town to the melodious Calendonia, both of which were hugely popular when they performed last year during an open mic event.

Doors open at 7pm and all are welcome.

The club are hoping to be able to provide a venue for locally-based acts .

Anyone interested in performing in the future should contact the organisers via email at [email protected] or through facebook.com/ thepinfoldclub
