Teesdale Players step back in time for latest production

CURTAIN UP: The Teesdale Players' cast for Coronation Fever. Seated are Linda Gregory

THEATREGOERS in Cotherstone will be transported back to the early 1950s for the latest production from the Teesdale Players.

The group is performing Coronation Fever, by Vince Jones, at the village hall from Thursday, November 8, to Saturday, November 10.

The comedy is set in the village of Wintercourse Frequent as plans are put in place to celebrate the coronation of Elizabeth II. Several groups, led by vicar Jeremy Tongue, are hoping to make it a celebration the like of which the village has never seen.
