Exhibition focuses on Martin’s photos

ON DISPLAY: Martin Rogers' latest photographic exhibition

PEOPLE heading to the newly re-opened Bowlees Visitor Centre can look forward to viewing an exhibition by upper dale photographer Martin Rogers.
Mr Rogers, who recently published a coffee book of his work entitled Essential Teesdale, had been booked to exhibit at the centre for July, but this has now been extended until the end of August.
He said: “It is a huge relief because I nearly ended up with only four days for the exhibition. It’s the largest show I’ve done, with a good number of large canvases. The pictures are almost all from the book.”
Scenes include images of Cow Green, mist around Kirk Carrion and various fauna and flora common to the dale.
The exhibition is held in the centre’s Mezzanine Gallery and along with the large photographs, people can buy greetings cards and the new book.
