Senior citizens group say farewell to organisers

STEPPING DOWN: The organisers of Cotherstone's annual lunch for senior citizens

Cotherstone senior citizens

COTHERSTONE senior citizen Christmas lunch was held in the village hall on Saturday, January 11, when a sad farewell was said to the organisers. Jenny, Dot, Ann, Kath, Jackie and Helen have put on the event for the past 37 years, along with many others from the village’s Fun Weekend committee.

But now it’s time to hang up their aprons.

Senior residents of the village have very much appreciated this special event and thanked everyone for the fabulous food, warm hospitality and fun.
