Fun in the sun at Gainford’s big day out

STARS OF THE SHOW: Twins Charlotte and Jessica Edwards

FAMILIES in Gainford enjoyed some fun in the sun last weekend.

The village’s annual fun day on the green had plenty of entrants for the fancy dress parade, which had a theme of Under the Sea.

There were lots of events on the green including model steam train rides, smash a rat and a climbing wall. Races for the children were well fought and there was an egg throwing competition.
