Children bring in the harvest for food bank

FOUR bags of essential food items were delivered to a Barnard Castle foodbank thanks to children and families at Woodland Primary School.
The collection, organised by the school council, took place before the autumn half term as part of the school’s harvest celebrations.
Teaching assistant Faye O’Brien delivered the items, which included noodles, sauces, soups and rice, to Store House, in Barnard Castle, which was grateful for the donation and thanked everyone for their generosity.
