Kyle Travel manager Vicki King said: “We’re lucky to have a regular customer, David Thomas, who often visits our branch with his amazing guide dog, Hannah.

“Seeing firsthand the incredible bond they share and knowing the vital role Hannah plays in David’s life inspired us to support Guide Dogs UK.

“The training and dedication that go into preparing a guide dog are truly remarkable, and the impact on the lives of their owners is priceless.”

Mr Thomas, a former England footballer, has limited vision because of glaucoma.

Ms King said: “David, Hannah, and David’s wife Brenda kindly joined us at the event, helping to raise awareness and show just how life-changing a guide dog can be.

“Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, we’re proud to say we raised £332 for Guide Dogs.

“Thank you to all who supported the cause!”
