Appeal for help with show

PEOPLE are being asked to support a popular village produce and craft show by putting their hat in the ring and helping out.

Gainford Show will hold its annual meeting on February 10 and people are being asked to join the committee.

“We hold about five meetings a year and take on lead roles, then need to be around just before and on the show day to help out,” said committee member Sarah Heslop.

People are also being asked to come up with ideas for this year’s schedule.

The meeting takes place in the village hall at 7.30pm.
