Vivo Pizzeria to be renamed Capri Italian Pizzeria

NEW NAME: The business in Newgate

A BARNARD Castle pizzeria is to be renamed as it comes into new ownership in the new year.

Kamal Alley, who owns Il Palazzo on Galgate, has bought Vivo Pizzeria on Newgate. He plans to relaunch both eateries and rebrand them.

As reported in last week’s Teesdale Mercury, Paradiso 1 bar and restaurant will be based at his Galgate premises. Vivo Pizzeria was going to be renamed Paradiso 2 Pizzeria.

However, to prevent any confusion Mr Alley has now decided to rename the Newgate eatery Capri Italian Pizzeria.

Capri Italian Pizzeria will be open for lunch and evening meals seven days a week.
