“Having been on the go for around 40 odd years we have enjoyed singing in Teesdale and the surrounding areas of Yorkshire and Cumbria.”

The choir is practising for the annual Christmas Concert in the Methodist Chapel, Barnard Castle, on Sunday, December 1 at 1.30pm.

Anyone interested in joining the choir is welcome to go along to any of the Thursday sessions, which start at 6.30pm.
