First for The Witham as panto makes its debut at Barney’s arts centre

YOU BEAUTY: Sleeping Beauty will bring panto fun to The Witham

IT’S panto time in Barnard Castle… oh yes it is!
For the first time, The Witham will be hosting a professional panto season for audiences near and far.
Tom Rolfe Productions will stage Sleeping Beauty – a magical, traditional family panto with all the usual panto characters, gags, laughs and special effects.
A production spokesperson said: “We are thrilled to bring a dream of a show to Barnard Castle this festive season as we prepare to present the most spellbinding pantomime of them all.
“Expect beautiful costumes, stunning scenery, dazzling special effects and much, much more.”
The panto opens with two shows for schools on Thursday, December 16, followed by a run from Friday, December 17, up to Christmas Eve.
Full details and listings are available at www.thewitham .org.uk.
Tickets can also be booked in person at The Witham box office which is open from Wednesday to Sunday every week.
Early bird tickets for those who book before September start at £8 with a family ticket for £35 and additional child tickets for families at £5. Those aged under four go free.
For more information about the panto and all other listings, call the box office on 01833 631107.
