Dark Sky Voices duo on tour

Musical duo Fiona Lander and Paul Mason

NORTHUMBRIAN-based song-writing duo, Landermason, have performed at some of the best-loved venues in the UK and are no strangers to Teesdale.

Together the multi-instrumentalist Fiona Lander, who alternates between playing the piano, clarinet, recorder, saxophone and whistle, and guitarist and ukulele player Paul Mason have won a legion of fans over the past 20 years.

Their spellbinding performances incorporate jazz, contemporary folk with classical and other styles to provide a truly unique live music experience. They have performed in Teesdale several times over the years, enchanting audiences at Boldron and wowing spectators at The Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle.

They released their seventh studio album in 2021, Landermason with Dark Sky Voices.

As part of their eight-date summer tour they will be returning to Boldron Village Hall on Thursday, August 15, at 8pm, as part of their eight-date summer tour, to showcase some of their latest music.

They will be performing their own self-penned material, interspersed with lively jigs and striking arrangements of traditional classics as well as Culnacraig, a tune they composed on a recent holiday to the north west highland region of Coigach in Scotland.

Tickets to see Landermason cost £10. To book contact Val on 01833 638210.
