Age old story told through eyes of gay millennial looking for love

DIVERSE: Guy - the Musical is coming to Barnard Castle

A SHOW which tells the age-old story of someone who thinks they don’t fit in looking for love comes to Barnard Castle next week.

Guy – the Musical tells the story of a gay millennial in search of romance.

Guy is fat, nerdy and shy and he feels like he doesn’t fit in to the gay community.

The show is set to a soundtrack of 12 electronic-pop anthems, and is a much-needed reminder that the only person you can be is yourself.

Sarah Gent, marketing manager of The Witham said “We are proud to be presenting Guy – The Musical.

“It is part of our artistic programming policy to represent a diverse range of people through the arts here at Barnard Castle’s community arts centre.

“I hope lots of people come to enjoy this exciting, young musical. It’s going to a great night out.”

The show takes place on Friday, February 7. Tickets are £14, and £12 for those aged 16 years and under.
