Young footballers shine before season is called off

WELL PLAYED: The Barnard Castle U7 team with manager Darren Harrison

Junior football

Barnard Castle U7s
THE U7s were the newest team to join the club.
The boys started the season amazingly winning there first eight games.
They played some great flowing football working as a team and scoring lots of goals.
The players’ effort and attitude has been great from the very first training session. After Christmas, the boys went straight into the top league, which was much tougher playing against the best teams in the area.
The boys did very well and played their part in some excellent games.
Manager Darren Harrison would like to thank the players and also the parents who are a great help.
The future certainly looks good for this team and they can’t wait to get playing again.

Barnard Castle u14s

THIS season has been our greatest, although it was been cut short for obvious reasons.
We had managed to go all season unbeaten and were in good shape to claim the title.
We will try again next season to continue with this great form.
I’d like to thank all the players and parents for their efforts and support. Up the Barney.
