Players get new strips

Barnard Castle Rugby Club started the 2021/2022 season with new team strips and new post protectors’ thanks for sponsorship from local businesses

The first and second teams were kitted out with new strips ahead of their opening home games of the season earlier this month.

Glo Tanning Salon in Bishop Auckland and John Cullerton and Sons Ltd, electrical contractors from Durham, have sponsored the team kits and new post protectors for the season.

Paul Cook, who runs Glo Tanning Salon in Bishop Auckland, with his son James, said he was delighted to be able to support the club in whatever way he could.
