MIDDLETON-IN-TEESDALE won the B division cup beating Haughton II.

Batting first MIT were in trouble at 19 for four, but a 42 run partnership between Kamron Ibberson (42) and Sam Bell ( 20 ) steadied the innings.

A quick knock from captain Jamie Byers (23) guided MIT to a total of 107 for nine off 20 overs.

In reply Haughton found themselves 45 for four with 10 overs to go.

MIT bowlers controlled the innings with Graham Hutchinson one for 26 and Gary Waller one for 19 bowling tight.

Tom Dent three for 17 was the pick of the bowlers and Oliver Welsby picked up two for 22

Some exceptional fielding ensured MIT reduced Haughton to 96 for 9 off their 20 overs.

MIT won by 11 runs to lift the Divisional cup
