Martyn’s on target to claim top spot in first shoot of the summer

WINNER: Martyn Hutchinson receives the trophy from Eric Wilkinson's nephew Carl Hutchinson

Teesdale Gun Club

THE first shoot of the summer season was in commemoration of Eric Wilkinson, a founder member of the club which he started along with a group of friends in 1970.

The competition for the night was 50 automatic ball trap, with many competitors all striving to have their name inscribed on this well sort after trophy.

Following some excellent scores, the night ended with a shoot-off between Martyn Hutchinson and Colin Liddle who both produced a score of 45/50. Martyn Hutchinson secured the trophy which was presented Mr Wilkinson’s nephew Carl Hutchinson.

The directors would like to thank Mr Wilkinson’s family for their continued support towards the club.

Summer season fixtures can be viewed on the club’s web site at www.teesdalegun club.co.uk.
