Next year’s captain Graham West spoke about the evening: “It’s been a great night, there were more than 80 people here, all the trophies have been awarded to the men’s and ladies’ sections and everyone seems to have enjoyed it.”

When asked about taking over as captain he said: “I’m very excited, the pressure’s on but we’ve got a great course, great membership and the club is only heading in one direction.”

With new head professional Peter Hartley taking over in January, 2024 is expected to be an even more prosperous year for the club.
