POLICE are appealing for information after a woman was shot at with an air rifle.
The incident happened in Queen Street, Barnard Castle, at about 7.35pm on Wednesday, August 2.
A police spokesperson said the shot was fired from a black Peugeot car.
They added: “Thankfully, she did not suffer any injuries but was understandably shaken by the incident. The occupants of the car, which is believed to be a 58 plate Peugeot, were described as Asian. They did not stop at the scene.”
