Three men taken to hospital after crash on A68 near Toft Hill

Police have closed the A68 in Toft Hill following two-car crash this morning

Police are currently dealing with a two-car collision on the A68 near Toft Hill.

The incident, involving a green Vauxhall Astra and Silver Kia, took place shortly after 7.30am this morning.

Emergency services attended the scene including the Great North Air Ambulance Service helicopter and rapid response car.

One man has been taken to James Cook University Hospital, in Middlesbrough, with life-threatening injuries. Two other men are also in hospital with serious injuries.

The A68 is closed in both directions.
