A SMALL sporting estate in Teesdale has come on the market for the first time in 100 years at a price of £1.8million.
Estate agents say Park House Estate, which was once part of Lartington Estate, offers a great opportunity to purchase a small country estate with a range of sporting rights over nearly 500 acres.
It includes a refurbished grade II-listed house with farmland, commercial woodland, lakes and two well stocked fishing ponds, extending to about 146 acres.
The shooting, stalking and fishing rights stretch over a further 498 acres and there is income from a commercial quarry lease, which runs until 2027 with an annual rent of £12,000.
