Police and mountain rescue teams are resuming their search in Teesdale today for a woman who went missing from Tow Law on Tuesday.
A 23-year-old named Jenny went missing at about 9pm on Tuesday, February 18.
A police spokesperson said: “She was last seen leaving her home in Barracks Farm, Tow Law, in her red Ford Focus just after 3pm.
“Jenny is described as white, 6ft tall and has very long dark hair. She was last seen wearing a blue hoodie with a John Deere logo and dark jogging bottoms.
“It is thought Jenny might have headed to the Barnard Castle area.”
Teesdale and Weardale Search and Mountain Rescue Team despatched 15 members and three search dogs to scour an area of Moorland between Eggleston and stanhope on Wednesday.
They were assisted by another 20 members from neighbouring search and rescue teams from Kirkby Stephen, Swaledale, Cleveland, North of Tyne and Northumberland, as well as two additional search dogs.
