Schools unite for anti-bullying stance

HAPPY TOGETHER: Josh Futter

OAKLEY Cross Primary School pupils have been taking part in activities with pupils from a nearby school which caters for children with complex needs as part of their annual anti-bullying scheme.

The pupils from Evergreen Primary School, in Bishop Auckland, have visited their West Auckland peers for the past five years to create a better understanding of different people’s needs. Deputy headteacher Charlotte O’Neil said: “It is part of our anti-bullying scheme. We do different activities such as decorating an odd sock to show how everyone is unique.”
