Reunion of 1950s pupils at Wycliffe

A REUNION is to be held for those who attended Wycliffe School in the 1950s. The event will take place at Hutten Magna Village Hall on Sunday, May 22, at 2pm.

Organiser Marion Lewis said: “The senior school closed in 1958 and they were sent to Baliol School, in Barnard Castle. They were in North Yorkshire then, so they had to pay County Durham. The rest of the school closed in 1963.
