Pupils wow their families with Easter performance

PUPILS at Montalbo School, in Barnard Castle, entertained an audience of family and friends when they performed their Easter play. Zoom, a musically updated version of fable the tortoise and the hare, included a raft of characters including several princesses and a gaggle of paparazzi who joined in the

fun alongside woodland animals to see who willtriumph in the race between Harvey Hare, the mean but rich mayoral candidate, and Toby Tortoise, a tortoise of the

people.

Pupils performed a matinee and an evening show.
