VILLAGE councillors are to become pin ups.

Members of Cockfield Parish Council were told by a resident that many villagers didn’t know who their local councillors are.

Cecil Alderson, secretary of the village’s workingmen’s club, told members he has been approached many people who complain they have no idea who the councillors are despite the information being available online.

In a positive move the council has agreed to have posters made with photographs of each member and they will be put up around the village.
