Fun and games as trio bid farewell to Forest of Teesdale friends

CHEERIO: Assistant headteacher Claire Tunstall presents Letitia and Sianleigh Burton and Emma Eccles with gifts at the leavers' celebration at Forest of Teesdale School

FOREST of Teesdale Primary School gave their leavers a rousing send off with an assembly and barbecue.

Family and school supporters were invited to the event which paid tribute to year six pupils Emma Eccles and Sianleigh Burton who are heading off to Teesdale and Alston schools respectively.

Year five pupil Letitia Burton is also leaving for Alston.

Along with playing games like archery and frisbee golf on the day, the children at Forest read out items they had prepared about their memories of those who are leaving.

The leavers also told those present what they will remember most fondly about their time at the school.
