Dog lovers invited to take part in this year’s Great Gobal Greyhound Walk

READY FOR WALKIES: Carroll Trevor and Amber the lurcher

DOG lovers are invited to bring their four-legged friends along for a special “walkies” in the autumn.
Once again, the dale will host an event as part of the Great Global Greyhound Walk.
It takes place on Sunday, September 25, from Hutton Magna Village Hall.
Local organiser Carroll Trevor said greyhounds, lurchers, other sighthounds and companion dogs were all welcome to take part along a walk that covers roads, footpaths and fields.
In addition, there will be a cake stall and tombola back at the village hall to help raise funds for charities which support greyhounds.
Ms Trevor said the walk would last about an hour, with participants meeting at the village hall at 10am for a 10.30am start.
“This is going to be a very exciting greyhound day. Do join us,” she said.
For more information about the Hutton Magna walk, email Ms Trevor at [email protected] or call Sheila Wylie on 01833 627489.
