HAPPY BIRTHDAY: Denton WI recently celebrated its 70th anniversary, hosting a harvest supper and party at Summerhouse Village Hall with fellow members from the Mid Tees Group of WIs. Joining us for the occasion were Judith Alderson, county chairman and Audrey Flanagan, county adviser, pictured with Denton members. President Judith Hodgson thanked Denton members for providing a delicious supper, floral arrangements and raffle prizes. The cake was baked and iced by Angela Dearlove and the MOR-UKES group rounded off the evening with some foot-tapping musical entertainment.
