BUILDING BLOCKS: Stephen Pilling

CHILDREN at Woodland Primary School learned more about science and technology while building their own Lego city. Presented by Stephen Pilling, of Creative Builders Workshops, pupils were encouraged to build mansions, hotels, museums and blocks of flats to create a city.

Mr Pillings said: “At the end we will connect wires on a circuit so it all lights up.

“They have been given no instructions and they have all built their own models. They have been a nice group to work with and they have come up with some great ideas.”
