Bus routes out of Barney to be affected by strike action

Arriva bus services out of Barney are due to be disrupted for a week

THREE major bus routes out of Barnard Castle are expected to be disrupted for a week starting on Sunday because of strike action.

Unite the Union called the strike over a pay dispute with Arriva Bus Services.

Routes affected will be buses X75 and X76 from Barnard Castle to Darlington via Staindrop, Gainford and Piercebridge; and bus 6 from Barnard Castle to Durham via Bishop Auckland.
