Bowes’ little graduates make their film debut

CHILDREN from Bowes Pre-school celebrated with a difference this year becoming video stars in the process.

Instead of graduating in front of their parents and families the four-year-olds donned their caps and gowns, received a present and certificate, and a video was made for their parents, so that they didn’t miss out.

Bowes Pre-school manager Nicky Alderson said “Many of our children have been with us for a number of years, so we’re all feeling very emotional now that it’s time to say goodbye. Over their time here, the children haven’t just been learning numeracy and literacy, they have been learning independence and social skills.

“We are incredibly proud of every one of our graduates and would like to thank all of their parents for their support over the years. We’ve made some wonderful memories together and hope to stay in touch with them all.”
