THE annual Aviation Day service will take place on Friday, June 22, at 11am in the Galgate Memorial Gardens, Barnard Castle.
The Vintage Pipers will be perform from 10.30am, prior to an opening introduction at 10.58am by Tony Galley, one of the co-founders.
The service will be led by Revd Canon Alec Harding and includes a wreath laying ceremony involving the town mayor Cllr Sandra Moorhouse and representatives from RAF Leeming, The Royal Air Forces Association, Barnard Castle School Cadet Force and, co-founder, John Yarker.
Refreshments will be available following the service.
