Arsonists try to set fire to BFG sculpture

SOMEONE has tried to set alight to the wooden sculpture of BFG in the grounds of The Bowes Museum, in Barnard Castle. Police say the incident happened between October 4 and October 10 when the museum was shut. The statue, which was created as part of the BFG exhibition, was scorched. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 and quote CRI00155912.
