Arrest in Mickleton

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of threats to kill, attempted arson and breach of a restraining order.

The 23-year-old was arrested in Mickleton yesterday after police were called at 6.54pm on April 18.

A double crewed ambulance and a paramedic from the area response team attended the scene.

A spokesperson for the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) confirmed the service were called to concerns about a man’s welfare in the village at 7.15pm. 

County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service was also involved.
