Magic for mums, grans and aunts

PUPILS at Middleton-in-Teesdale Primary School put their baking skills to the test for an afternoon tea with mums, aunts and grandmothers.

The children baked scones and cupcakes at the school ahead of the tea.

Teacher Lauren Dominick said a raffle was also held to raise cash for new wellies and waterproofs to improve the school’s outdoor provision.

The event was organised to celebrate Mother’s Day last month.
