Following a successful tender submission through the North East Procurement Organisation, Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors has been appointed to the £60 million, multiple-lot framework. The procurement exercise was led by Newcastle City Council but provides access to legal services for 12 different local authorities across the North East.
The appointment adds to the commercial teams’ growing client base and demonstration of its ability to provide specialist legal services to both the private and public sectors. In addition to this growth of the firm’s core services, TBI has also extensively developed its specialist areas, such as Insolvency, Academies and Franchising.
Tilly Bailey & Irvine LLP’s managing partner, Carolyn Tilly, said: “We are delighted to be appointed to the local authority framework in regards to TBI’s commercial legal services.
“The commercial teams already act for a wide range of local clients and it is a delight to now have the opportunity to work directly with our local authorities, many of which we already have good relationships with.”
TBI provides it commercial services predominantly out of its office on Wynyard Business Park. The teams provide clear, expert advice to a wide range of clients requiring legal support in areas including Corporate and Commercial, Business Disputes and Litigation, Commercial Property and Employment.
In addition to the business departments, the branch at Wynyard also has specialist Private Client and Private Family lawyers that are dedicated to providing services to business owners and high net worth individuals.
