ADDING UP TO SUCCESS: Gemma Siddle and Tony Conner with Personal Finance Award presented to Eldon

A DALE finance expert is celebrating after being named one of the best in the country for the second year running.

Gemma Siddle, from Eggleston, reached the final three in the chartered financial planner of the year category of the Personal Finance Society (PFS) Awards.

Ms Siddle is a director of Eldon Financial Planning, based in Newton Aycliffe, and at the awards, the business, established in 2002, was judged chartered financial planning firm of the year 2018/19.

The industry awards were held at London’s O2 Intercontinental Hotel and hosted by broadcaster and writer Clive Anderson. It was the second time the company picked up the award, having also won in 2011.

The PFS panel said Eldon was a firm with a “unique culture driven by client centricity and commitment to nurturing the talent of the future” .

Director Tony Conner said: “We are absolutely delighted to win this accolade. Our team is hard-working with a strong culture of doing the best for our clients so to have this external recognition and endorsement of the work we do is fantastic.”

Ms Siddle added: “Eldon has seen many changes since winning this prestigious award in 2011. Undertaking these changes within the firm, while still maintaining our leading edge, is a testament to our magnificent team and their dedication in working together to give our clients the best service possible.”
