Good causes benefit from hotel’s annual fun day

STAFF at Walworth Castle Hotel raised £800 at a recent family fun day.

The money has been split between Heighington Scouts and Great North East Air Ambulance Service.

The annual family fun day featured craft stalls, fairground rides, donkey rides and Punch and Judy.

Rachel Swain, a director of Walworth Castle, said: “We are thrilled to have raised money for these worthwhile causes.

“We host lots of events and our aim is to raise money for charity, have fun, and put on a great event for people to enjoy.”

Meanwhile, the hotel’s annual car show took place last weekend.
