Brew Monday banishes the January blues

MENTAL HEALTH: A small crowd enjoyed coffee

BUSINESS people at Enterprise House, in Barnard Castle, fended off the dreariness of “blue Monday” last week by hosting a “brew Monday” coffee morning in aid of the Samaritans charity.

It is claimed that the third Monday in January is the most depressing day of the year, spurring the Samaritans to encourage people to host a coffee morning.

Tenants and members of a business networking group enjoyed tea, coffee and cakes at Enterprise House, raising more than £35.

Enterprise House has raised £441.93 for good causes over the past 12 months.
