A VENETIAN theme has been chosen for Marie Curie cancer care shop’s fashion show, which is aimed at promoting sustainable fashion and raising awareness of the charity.
The event at the Horsemarket store, in Barnard Castle, on Friday, November 10, at 6.30pm, has been organised by manager Jules Deehan. All the outfits featured in the show have been selected from items donated to the shop.
She said: “This year’s event is inspired by a visit to Venice. We have created a platform to showcase our pre-loved fashion involving young models who have volunteered from our local community.
“Working with the young models has been very encouraging and great fun. Together we have created a collection of unique outfits.”
Ms Deehan added: “We wish to encourage sustainable fashion while supporting the vital work of the charity. This year is the 75th anniversary of Marie Curie and we thank everyone for their support. You are all amazing.”
Tickets for the show cost £5 and are available from the shop.
