Sam tunes up for resumption of popular Acoustic Cafe sessions

ON SONG: Sam Nixon will play at The WItham's Acoustic Cafe sessions on Saturday

ACOUSTIC Cafe sessions resume at The Witham on Saturday, January 25, with a performance from Sam Nixon.

The sessions showcase local performers, who perform on the cafe balcony at Barnard Castle’s arts centre.

Singer-songwriter Mr Nixon has played many open mic events and gigs such as the Durham Wellbeing festival at The Hub.

He also started the band Coated Ambassador which headlined the Stanhope Park Carnival, in Darlington, last year after winning an original music award run by the Forum.

He will be playing a mix of country, folk and pop.

The acoustic session takes place from 2pm to 4pm and admission is free.
